Turkey Storifyed

I came back to London after 16 days in Turkey, worked for two days, then got sick for three. And not just a little sniffle and cough, mind you, more like head-aches-body-pains-coughs-nose-running-I-don’t-wanna-eat-I-thought-I-was-gonna-die kind of illness. Do you know the kind of illness when you feel so low that you thought this is going to be it? That your body would never be able to recover and you’d just be in that state your whole life? No? Just me?

Anyway I fondly called it Turkey fever. And that means I haven’t been able to even download the photos into my machine, let alone compose a coherent narrative.

I have however been playing with and decided to let the tidbits of my sporadic updates on facebook and instagram tell the story. If you read this on your mobile, email, or feed reader, I don’t how this is going to look like, as I’m embedding storify page into this page. If nothing appears on your tiny screen, please view it on proper browser.

In my next post I will try to compose the coverage to Turkey, with tips and tricks for traveling the country. If you have been flirting with the idea to visit, do not miss out.

The Traveling Reader
I left home when I was 17 and never stop exploring the world since. Most days I'm a digital technician at one of the London's biggest visual effects studio. My alternate persona writes and travels and dreams of doing these as a living. I alternately call myself Indonesian or Australian whichever is more beneficial at the time, and I've been a Londoner since 2011.
